FIGHT TO SURVIVE
Role-playing Martial Arts Meets Heart
This is the corner of the website with a whole page dedicated to the main game of this publishing house, Fight to Survive: Role-playing Martial Arts Meets Heart and its solo version, Solo Martial Blues.
In a nutshell, it's a heartbreaking, struggling, mundane, down-and-dirty table-top role-playing game about martial artists in the 20th century, where most situations are violent and usually end in sadness. It's diceless, multi-generational, and while it may be cheesy around the edges it tries with the upmost sincerity to do fighting proud.

"Fight To Survive is to Rock-Paper-Scissors what Chopin's Nocturne op.9 No.2 is to Mary-Had-A-Little-Lamb."

The Story of it
Fight to Survive (named for the lead song on the soundtrack to 1988's Bloodsport) was Kickstarted in April of 2022 and came out a year later, in March of 2023. It's a weird indie game, and I'm glad it exists. I'm glad to have made it. It's responsible for some of my favourite role-playing memories in a lifetime of engagement with the hobby. I don't know if I'm capable of making a game that everyone will like, but this is one that a few people out there, probably just a few, can love. Its sentiment is perhaps best summed up by the video below.

Fight to Survive was nominated for an Indie Groundbreakder award for "Best Setting", in 2023, which was nice. A play aid, the Combat Cards, were released in December of 2023, and the solo game, Solo Martial Blues came out in June of 2024.
